A Tropical Holiday on the Bay Mayor William E. King and the Kemah City Council invite you to the annual Christmas in Kemah holiday celebration and the 2nd Christmas in Kemah Parade on November 29, 2003. The theme of the parade is a “Tropical Holiday on the Bay”. The Parade will also include Mayor Bill King riding "Shiloh" (the Texas Long Horn), Santa riding on the Kemah Fire Truck, Art Cars, antique cars, floats and more. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. Individuals, schools, groups and businesses are encouraged to decorate a float, cars, and trucks with Christmas colors. Register on line by clicking on www.kemah.net and going to Christmas in Kemah Parade, by mail or at the Kemah City Hall, 1401 Hwy 146, Kemah, TX 77565, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Late registration can be accomplished at the table under the bridge on the day of the parade. Line up for the parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. under the bridge. If you just want to watch, bring a chair and pick a spot on Sixth Street, Harris Avenue, 7th Street, Bradford Street, 4th Street, along Kipp or 9th Street and you are sure to have a front row seat. Christmas in Kemah is Nov.
22nd & 23rd and Nov.28th, 29th & 30th (weekend before
Thanksgiving and weekend of Thanksgiving)and marks the 7th annual
Christmas in Kemah Holiday Open House. Come enjoy the sights and sounds
of the holiday season. Play in the snow at "Blizzard on the Bay".
Experience all Kemah has to offer. Fabulous holiday shopping, food and
fun. Also featured this year is "Shiloh", World famous Texas
Longhorn. Shiloh is from "Cowtown" the stockyards in Fort Worth
and will be ridden by Mayor Bill King in the parade, Nov.
29th @10:00 a.m. Shiloh will also be available for pictures after
