The Captains Roundtable Committee of The Lakewood Yacht Club is proud to present a Cruising World/US Sailing Safety At Sea Seminar sponsored by West Marine and featuring Ralph Naranjo technical editor of Cruising World magazine as moderator. The seminar will be held at the beautiful Lakewood Yacht
Club in Seabrook The program has been sanctioned by CRUISING WORLD magazine
and evolved from the highly successful program by the US Naval Academy at On-the-water demonstrations will include “quick stop” and man overboard recoveries, flare procedures and helicopter evacuation. Lecture topics include a life-raft demonstration, crew preparation and safety, heavy weather sailing, inspecting, equipping and preparing your boat for offshore, handling medical emergencies and the boat's first aid kit.
