Gras Kick Off Party Friday

Wine Bistro & Piano Lounge
The theme
for this year’s
event is “Temptation of the Sea.” Madeline's Wine Bistro & Piano
Lounge will host the traditional Kick-off Party at 7 PM February 12th;
this event is open to the public. The party will consist of hors
d’oeuvres, cash bar, music and both live and silent auctions. Music
will be provided by the fabulous Lady D & the Zydeco Tornadoes Band
for an evening of great entertainment and dancing to benefit Baysmart
Youth Educational Support Services, Inc. and Jeanette Williams
Foundation for Children’s Cancer Research and Summer Camps. The
Baysmart Youth Educational Support Services, Inc provides young people
with constructive opportunities for personal growth through adventurous
outdoor activities with positive adult mentors. These activities are
centered around Galveston Bay. Jeanette Williams Foundation for
Children’s Cancer Research’s goal is to raise fund for research to help
in the treatment and cure of cancer in children and to host Summer

Creek Channel by the Kemah boardwalk and revelers will be showered with
beads and doubloons. Boat owners form private "Krewes" and
decorate their boats Mardi Gras Style. It's a Floating Mardi Gras
Parade you wont want to miss! Happy Mardi Gras Ya'll
